Our nurses are professionally trained and come from many countries around the world to serve the Maldivian community together with their Maldivian nursing colleagues. They are a critical link between the patient and the healthcare team. The nursing standards and processes are guided by the Tree Top Hospital Vision and Mission, which is to promote, improve and sustain integrated healthcare services. Care is driven by ensuring that the patients have the best possible experience at Tree Top Hospital, whether as an Inpatient or Outpatient. The nursing team is led by the Nursing Director, alongside Assistant Directors of Nursing, Infection Control Manager, Nursing Educators, and 24 hour Nursing Supervision. The multidisciplinary healthcare team is made up of consultants, specialists, medical officers, and allied healthcare professionals of physiotherapists, pharmacists, dieticians and technicians. Nursing plays a central role in this team and is integral to the delivery of excellent nursing care where every effort is made for each patient feel unique and comfortable. The nursing team approaches the care holistically, and are a central point of contact as they participate in the care, treatment and recovery of the patient. Important skills are put into practice, as care plans are executed and communicated. Nursing remains driven by a consistent reference to the latest evidence which enables them to deliver the best care possible alongside a sincere passion for care.
