Tree Top Hospital “TTH” has been working with the Government of Maldives including the National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC) to support the national COVID19 response. The TTH Directors offered to provide the services and facilities of TTH to Government as the primary COVID19 treatment facility, if and when the need arises. On April 26, 2020, TTH signed this Agreement with the Government of Maldives as represented by The National Disaster Management Authority “NDMA”. On April 30, 2020, the NDMA notified TTH that effective Sunday, May 3, 2020, TTH will provide treatment only to COVID19 patients referred from IGMH, and so can no longer serve the general public.
