About Dr. Abdulla Ubaid

Dr. Abdulla Ubaid gained his Master's in General Surgery from Tribhuvan University and Master of Health Informatics from Auckland University of Technology. He is a renowned local surgeon specialized in General Surgery with 15 years of clinical experience that includes more than 3,000 successful surgical Procedures. He was one of the founders of Maldivian Association of Surgeons and was also part of the team that conducted the first brain tumor operation in the Maldives. As a Head of the Department, Dr. Ubaid managed the overall responsibilities of the Surgical Department including attending emergencies as second on-call surgeon when necessary. He has various publications related to topics such as Role of Mobile Health Applications and Identifying Vital Signs-Patterns related to Intensive Care Re-admission.
