Dr. Shareef is a compassionate psychiatrist who is passionate about raising awareness on the importance of mental health and is an activist in fighting stigma and discrimination faced by those enduring mental health disorders. He is currently leading the Psychiatry department at Hulhumale' Hospital's Mental Health Centre as the Head of the Department. Prior this leadership role, he has served as the Medical Officer in Charge in Hulhumale' Hospital. He has completed his MD (Psychiatry) at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Nepal and MBBS in Dalian Medical University in China.
