At Tree Top Hospital Maldives, our highly trained anesthesiologists are compassionate and dedicated to ensuring that all Guests receive an excellent service. Our team is able to do so by combining the latest equipment and technology with an expert team. The Department of Anesthesiology provides anesthesia and pain management services in and out of the Operating Theater (OT)

Prior to surgeries requiring anesthesia, a pre-anesthesia checkup is conducted where patients are clinically assessed, optimized, and then are explained about the various anesthetic techniques. Which includes pain management to alleviate the anxiety about the surgery.

The anesthesiology team works closely with other departments to ensure that Guests receive the highest standards of healthcare in the Maldives. Including safe and effective anesthesia for all specialty and super-specialty surgeries. Some of the surgeries which may require anesthesia include, but are not limited to:

• ENT (Otorhinolaryngology) surgery
