Dr. Sama Haleem

Dr. Sama Haleem is specialised in Anaesthesiology with special clinic interest in Obstetrics Anaesthesia and Regional Anaesthesia. He is experienced and skilled in managing patients presenting for Routine and Emergency Surgery, including pre and post-operative care for Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Maxillofacial, Urology and Dental surgeries. He completed his MBBS from Baqai Medical University, Pakistan and his Master of Medicine in Anaesthesiology, University of Malaya, Malaysia. As Head of Anaesthesia at IGMH, he managed the overall responsibilities of the department, including formulating standard operating procedures and guidelines. Dr. Sama is the President of the Maldives Anaesthesiologists Association and he has also represented Maldives in the 12th SAARC Anaesthesia Association and chaired Symposium on Preoperative Issues.
