Tree Top Hospital successfully concluded its second multi-specialty health camp of 2026 in Gan, Laamu Atoll, reaffirming its commitment to improving access to specialist healthcare services across the Maldives.
Conducted in collaboration with Gamu Regional Hospital, Hadhumathi Gan Council and Gan Women’s Development Committee on 19 and 20 June 2026, the health camp received overwhelming support from the local community and surrounding islands. A total of 492 specialist consultations were provided during the two-day program, enabling residents to access expert medical care without the need to travel to Malé.
The camp brought together a team of specialists from Cardiology, Endocrinology, ENT, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Pulmonology, and Urology, offering consultations, health screening, and health education services to the community.
In addition to patient consultations, Tree Top Hospital conducted a special educational session for students in Gan aimed at promoting health awareness and encouraging healthy lifestyle choices from an early age. A dedicated professional development session was also conducted for nurses of Gamu Regional Hospital, supporting knowledge sharing and strengthening healthcare capacity within the atoll.
Tree Top Hospital extends its sincere appreciation to Gamu Regional Hospital, L. Gan Council and Gan Women’s Development Committee, local authorities, partner organizations, volunteers, and the community members whose support contributed to the success of the event.
