Dr. Ali Muznee


Dr. Ali Muznee is a Senior Consultant in Orthopaedics and trauma surgery. He has undergone training in joint reconstructive surgery and is a pioneer in joint replacement surgery in the Maldives. He has successfully performed over 2000 knee and hip replacement surgeries. He was also the Head of Department of Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery for over 8 years in IGMH and is instrumental in the improvement of Orthopaedic services to the level it has become acceptable all over the country. And he has successfully performed joint replacement surgeries in different parts of the Maldives; including Seenu Regional Hospital, Dr. Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital (Thinadhoo), Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital and Medica hospital for the first time and these surgeries have been well established and accepted by the people in those regions.
