Dr. Ali Niyaf

Dr. Ali Niyaf is a highly skilled neurosurgeon with extensive training and experience in neuroendovascular procedures, endoscopic cranial surgeries, and spine surgeries. He completed his MBBS at Kursk State Medical University, Russia, and pursued advanced training in neurosurgery in various prestigious institutions worldwide, including KEMS Hospital, Mumbai, the Pittsburgh course in the USA, and the Neospine Center in Seattle.

He has served as a Senior Consultant in Neurosurgery at ADK Hospital, Maldives, where he was also the Head of the Department of Neurosurgery. His professional experience includes pivotal roles at IGMH, Male’, and Hithadhoo Regional Hospital.

Dr. Niyaf is actively involved in medical education, serving as a lecturer and course instructor in multiple institutions. He is a published researcher with numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals, focusing on innovative approaches in neurosurgery. His contributions to neurosurgery in the Maldives are significant, including organizing educational conferences and performing live surgical demonstrations.
