Dr. Rukhsana Ahmed specializes in Pediatrics with over 30 years of international experience in pediatrics and expertise in Tropical Childhood, Infectious Diseases and Child Nutrition. She completed her MMBS from University of Punjab, Pakistan and Post-Graduate Pediatrics at Sydney Childrens’ Hospital affiliated with the University of New South Wales, Australia. She further obtained her Masters and PhD in infectious disease and epidemiology at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK. She is the co-Chair of the Maldivian Technical Advisory Group for Immunization (MTAGI) and a member of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. She has authored several publications and is the founder member of Clinesia, a contract research organization in Indonesia.
