Tree Top Hospital has opened applications for its annual nursing scholarship program. This scholarship program, which began in 2021 in partnership with Villa College, aims to develop young Maldivian professionals in the nursing field.
Under
this program, 19 students have received scholarships so far, with 7 nurses
currently employed at Tree Top Hospital. As in previous years, scholarships for
both the Diploma in Nursing and B.Sc. in Nursing courses will be offered.
Nursing
is one of the largest departments at Tree Top Hospital in terms of staff. As
nurses play a crucial role in healthcare services, the hospital has been
continuously working to expand nursing services, particularly specialist
nursing services, since its inception.
The
scholarship is open to Maldivian students registered in Villa College's nursing
program. Applicants must not be receiving any other scholarship or studying at an
institution other than Villa College.
Both new and current students can apply for the scholarship. The application period is from September 15th to September 30th.
