As part of its corporate social responsibility
program, Tree Top Hospital recently provided medical services for the
"Healthy Kids for the Future" sports event.
Organized by Racers MV in celebration of Kids Athletics Day and Children’s Day,
the event took place on May 17th at Hulhumale Synthetic Track, a leading sports
facility in the Maldives.
The event was a joint effort between the Maldives
Athletics Association and the Ministry of Sports, Fitness, and Recreation. By
participating, Tree Top Hospital reinforced its commitment to preventive
healthcare and youth development through sports.
Tree Top Hospital has a strong history of supporting
major sporting events in the Maldives, including the Ooredoo Fun Run, Dhiraagu
Road Race, and Maldives Half Marathon. These initiatives highlight the
hospital’s dedication to promoting active lifestyles and reducing
non-communicable diseases through community fitness programs.
Additionally, the hospital took part in HDC’s
Children’s Day celebrations, marking Uppsala’s 21st anniversary. This further
demonstrates Tree Top Hospital’s focus on children’s health and wellness
education.
Tree Top Hospital plans to expand its community health programs, especially
those that combine physical activity with health education for young people.
These efforts are part of the hospital’s long-term strategy to improve public
health across the Maldives.
